While I was an Environment Artist at Certain Affinity I worked on bringing many point-of-interest areas (POI's) across New World's Brimstone Sands region from design blockout to completion. This seaside ghost town called Carthago was one of those POI's. For this area I coordinated with designers to create the layout, combat areas, and important spaces. I did the world-building including prop blockout and set-dressing in and around the POI, terrain sculpting, foliage placement, decal placement, gatherables placement, VFX placement, collision creation, and polish. The modular housing architecture was designed and modeled by me and finished by Tirzah Bauer. Final assets were made by the artists at Certain Affinity, and the Amazon Games team.
